Oxfordshire based Owen Developments
are renowned for their innovative development of turbocharger
and high performance engine technologies.

Since the mid-eighties part of their
expertise has been to rebuild and blueprint turbochargers
for both fast road and motorsport competition cars.
True to their philosophy of developing
new products and proving them in the theatre of motorsport,
their own Lancer Evolution VIII road car has been used
during the 2006 circuit racing season in the Castle Combe
National Mobile Windscreen Saloon Car Championship.
This year the Evo has been used to race
prove their new external wastegate Evo Big Power Kit that
provides up to 511bhp and 426lb ft of torque.
Last weekend, the Owen Developments Evo,
driven by Mark Harrison the company’s Performance
Centre Manager, won the final round of the championship
and finishes third overall in class for the series.
In only their second race season, and
the first season using the Lancer Evolution, Owens have
transformed the standard road vehicle into a top running
race car. The series has proved to be one of the most
popular and competitive saloon car series in the country
attracting very capable and talented drivers and competitive
machinery.
The Lancer Evolution is no stranger to
being a rally winner at all levels of competition but
very few of them are used for circuit racing, let alone
winning such events.
The Owen Developments Evo uses their
own external wastegate Big Power turbo kit and their turbo
speed sensor in conjunction with a MOTEC M800 ECU.
All these products can be seen and ordered
on Owen Developments new on-line shop website; www.owendevelopments.co.uk.
Similar performance packages are also
available for the Subaru Impreza.
Owen Developments are the Garrett Performance
Centre for European, African and the Middle East providing
the latest range of Garrett Ball Bearing Turbocharger
combinations.
Because of this expertise they were also
appointed by Garrett Motorsport Engineering USA as their
Garrett WRC Turbo Centre.
